Is the content really free to read?+
Yes — every review, guide and feature is free with no paywall. Memberships are entirely optional and simply help cover hosting and review hardware. Free readers see occasional unobtrusive ads; members don't.
How do you score games and hardware?+
We don't use a numeric score. Instead each review ends with a plain "buy, wait, or skip" call plus who the product is for. Everything is tested for at least a week, and we disclose whenever a unit was supplied by a publisher.
Can I pitch an indie game for a spotlight?+
Absolutely, and we especially love hearing from Australian and New Zealand studios. Email us a build key and a short pitch via the contact form below. We reply to everything within about a fortnight, even if it's a no.
Do you meet readers in person?+
We run a casual monthly meet-up at a Surry Hills pub, usually the first Thursday evening. Members get the details in the newsletter, but anyone is welcome to say hello. Bring a game you think we've slept on.
